Hayward Police Chief and Rotarian Bryan Matthews will be the featured presenter at the June 22 lunch meeting of the Hayward Rotary Club at 1074 B St.
He became the city's 16th chief, appointed in January of 2024 after serving as interim chief since August 2022 and being part of the department for more than two decades. He leads more than 300 officers and professional staff.
