On Monday May 4, join fellow Rotarians as we get a fascinating look into the life and art of American sculptor Frederick Hart, led by none other than his son Lain. Lain Hart was born in Washington, DC. He graduated from King's College, University of London, and completed a Master of Arts degree in Museum Anthropology at Columbia University. As a freelance writer and editor, Lain Hart has written and edited museum publications, and published non-fiction essays and articles in academic journals and books, including the award-winning Frederick Hart: The Complete Works (2007). Between 2011 and 2019, he taught at Holy Names University and Saint Mary’s College of California. He is co-director of the Leopardi Writing Conference, and executive director of the Frederick E. Hart Foundation for Educational Opportunity.
