Adrian Richardson is a bootcamp instructor, personal trainer, and life coach based in Oakland, California. He believes fitness is important for physical and mental well-being, as well as for longevity and improved quality of life. First introduced to strength training during three tours of duty in Iraq serving in the United States military, Adrian discovered that physical and mental health are critical elements to a successful mission. Through his own training, he developed a passion for helping others and started working with his fellow soldiers, coaching them to pass their physical fitness requirements on deployment. Watching his peers achieve their own success and reach their personal fitness goals with his help, Adrian was inspired to do more. When his last tour ended, Adrian decided to make fitness and coaching his life’s work.

Adrian is a lead trainer for the Fitbit Coach app. He is a NSCA, NPTI, and TRX Certified Personal Trainer, and received his Bachelors of Science in Economics from University of California, Irvine. You can find him racing obstacle courses, snowboarding, and mountain biking when he’s not helping his clients get and stay in great shape.

Adrian will talk on 'Sleep debt' and better community through better sleep.
